Harold Davis: About and Contact Info

Harold Davis is a professional photographer and writer. Three books of Harold's photography will be published in early 2008 and are now available for pre-order:

Harold graduated from law school, and was a professional photographer in New York in the 1980s. You can view some of his photos from that era of the World Trade Towers. After moving to California, Harold worked as a software developer and technology executive before turning back to photography and writing full time.

Harold's photographs have been widely collected and published. Click here to view galleries of Harold Davis prints. Click here for information about licensing photos for publication or for use on the web.

This site showcases the photography and techniques of Harold Davis. Some good starting places: an interview with Harold, a discussion of alternative digital techniques including xray and photogram captures that Harold uses, Harold's images of Yosemite, water drops, and flowers. Harold takes the sensor places no sensor has ever gone before in his passion for digital night photography of the wilderness landscape.

In his widely-read blog about digital photography, Photoblog 2.0, Harold serves up fresh imagery and writes about the trials, tribulations, and triumphs of being a digital photographer and father.
