The Knights of El Cerrito

Ah, those lonely knights, not to mention the lonely nights! I came across these neglected conquistadors, clearly spray painted, dusty, home to spider webs and pine needles, today while walking a back street in El Cerrito, California a mile or so from my home.

Clearly these fellows take their guard duty seriously - they stand before a rather large suburban edifice. Also, they may be waiting for the return of the Spanish dominion of California.
