As a registered attendee, you are cordially invited to submit your photos for review on the Finding the Mysterious in Photography webinar on Saturday October 24. The deadline for submission is Friday October 23 at 5pm PT.

The theme of the webinar is “mysterious,” and we scheduled this webinar to slightly precede Halloween. Halloween, and its predecessor holiday, All Saints Eve, represents the time of the year when the separation of this world and the next is thinnest. So the themes for the submission should be mysterious, related to Halloween, spiritual, and (perhaps) slightly creepy. An image that will make Harold pause, and say “trick or treat?” with a head scratch will perfectly fit this assignment.

Please submit from one to three images in JPEG format. Each image should be less than 5MB file size, between 1,500px and 2,000px in the longest dimension, between 72ppi and 100ppi, and saved at a quality of 8. The color space should be set to sRGB.

Include your name and the name of the image in the file name of each image submitted. For example, Harold Davis_Asclepias physocarpa.jpg.

Please email your JPEGs as an attachment to phyllis_davis@sonic.net.

Note that by submitting your photo, you are granting us the right to post your image as part of the video recording of the webinar.

We look forward very, very much to seeing your work!
