What: Creative LAB Color Essentials with Harold Davis

When: Saturday January 30, 2021 at 11am PT (2pm ET). Duration between one and two hours, including Q&A.

Where: This is an online webinar via Zoom. Zoom authenticated registration and a tuition payment of $29.95 are required for enrollment. Seating is limited. Click here to register now.

Details: This detailed presentation shows you how LAB color works, and explains its implementation in Photoshop. You’ll learn about LAB channels, colors, and inversions.

Harold will illustrate the webinar with step-by-step examples from his work, and show you how you can download and install his Photoshop LAB action software.

Also, Harold will explain how to use LAB for creative sharpening effects by using only the grayscale information in an image, thus avoiding unsightly and over-sharpened color.

Harold says, “All-in-all, you get more ‘bang for the buck’ with creative LAB than any other aspect of Photoshop, but at the same time LAB is surprisingly underused and underrated. I always enjoy teaching this subject, and tell my students as the class begins to hang on, it is going to be an exciting ride!”

There will be time for Q&A.

Who should attend: Anyone interested in an extraordinary and unusual toolkit of creative effects using Photoshop.
