Harold Davis—Best of 2018

2018 has been quite a year in art for me. Travel has included the Southwest of France, the Balearic Islands, a pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago, teaching at Maine Media Workshops, New York City, Heidelberg and Berlin Germany, Paris, Malta, and Sicily. My time at home has been productive as well.

Below each image, I’ve added links to the relevant blog stories that include my selected images (where I blogged them). Self-selected entries from previous years going back to 2013 can be found here.

Beautiful group from your year. I found the inversions really interesting, and the group of petals – well – just a stunning shot. Good luck in 2019!

Such an enticing collection. My first visit to your site (found on Goldstein’s blog list) and I’m happy to find an eclectic collection of fine work. I can’t pick a favorite but I do love “Above the Gran Via” as I gravitate toward B&W. Best to you and yours in the following year.

Wow, What an outstanding selection of diverse images and processing! I was ready to immediately say my favorite was your first, Study in Petals on Black, but then I was wowed even more as I scrolled down. Keep up the great work in 2019!
